Thanks for joining me!
I have thought about creating a blog for a long time. Why? That’s been a tough question for me to answer. I find writing to be therapeutic, and in some ways, I feel like blogs are public journals … journals that are offered up for others to read. I find when I write things, it helps me to clear out the drama in my head and often gives me insight.
For years I have tried to be that “real person” on Facebook who just puts things out there. I have never had the perfect Facebook or Instagram life, and I don’t want one. I share my struggles, my opinions and my faults in addition to the brag moments. In return I have received support and developed relationships I would have never expected. I have learned so much about the people in my life and about myself. I have also had people tell me that what I have shared has helped or inspired them, and that my friends is a truly amazing feeling.
So here I am, a little nervous, trying out this blogging thing. If I can share something to help just one person, putting it all out there will be worth it, and I am sure that in the process I will learn even more about myself.
There is no agenda or goal of this blog, and no specific topic. If you had to assign a theme I think it would just be about life and sharing the day to day struggles and little wins that we all have.
